Set Up Your Proxy Port and Get Credentials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Sign Up and Access Astro Dashboard<\/a><\/strong>: Click Sign up<\/strong> (for new users) or Sign in<\/strong> (if you already have an account). Users who want to try proxies for free before purchase can follow the instructions provided by Astro<\/a><\/strong> to get test credits.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. After activation, you will see a $3 trial balance<\/strong> on your account. This unlocks all core features for testing: all geolocations, API methods, TLS encryption, TCP tunneling<\/strong>, and more \u2014 everything needed for full-fledged work. If you need more resources, check your account balance in the top right corner. You can top up with a bank card right away, and with cryptocurrency after verification.

In the port settings window<\/strong>, choose the \u201cNetwork type\u201d<\/strong> (Residential, Mobile, or Datacenter) and set the \u201cLocation\u201d<\/strong> (Country, and City\/Operator if needed). Then configure \u201cIP rotation\u201d<\/strong> and select your \u201cAuthentication method\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 either set a \u201cLogin\/Password\u201d<\/strong> to use in VMLogin or add your device\u2019s IP under \u201cAllowed IP\u201d<\/strong> for whitelist access. Finally, select your \u201cTraffic plan\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 you can choose Pay As You Go<\/strong>, where you only pay for the data you actually use (no minimum), or Prepaid<\/strong>, where you purchase a fixed traffic package in advance at a discounted per-GB rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When to use which:

Astro proxies support both HTTP(S)<\/strong> and SOCKS5<\/strong> protocols. Each created port can be used with either option \u2014 Astro provides separate port numbers for them. Decide which one you will use in VMLogin depending on your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. In the \u201cActive Ports\u201d<\/strong> list, select your port and use the copy button at the bottom right \u2014 this instantly provides your connection data (Host, Port, Username, Password<\/strong>). The values are given in a standard format:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
